Froedtert South, Inc. in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Administrative Manager to serve as the administrative liaison in the absence of senior leaders and to monitor patient care across units.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing with 3–5 years of nursing/administrative experience, and current BLS/CPR certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days. Wisconsin/Illinois RN licensure eligibility applies based on location.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• 3–5 years nursing/administrative experience recommended.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• RN licensure eligibility in Wisconsin and/or Illinois depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the administrative liaison between Froedtert South and the public, staff and physicians in the absence of administrators and department directors.
• On an ongoing basis evaluates and monitors patient condition and care delivery for all of the patient care units.
• Assigns scheduled nursing staff to appropriate departments.
• Demonstrates competency with clinical skills listed in the department/unit skills list.
• Coordinates and administers medical and nursing care to patients using the nursing process as a framework for practice.
• Collaborates with health care team to achieve positive patient outcomes within established timeframes.
• Administers medications, IVs and treatments safely and in accordance with policy.
• Coordinates patient teaching and ensures a safe, clean, well-supplied environment.
