Qualifications

• Neonatal Resuscitation certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency with clinical skills per department/unit skills list and acts within the Wisconsin Nurse Practices Act.
• Coordinates and administers medical and nursing care to patients using the nursing process as a framework for practice.
• Administers medications, IVs and treatments in a timely and safe manner according to policy and procedure.
• Coordinates patient teaching and participates in orientation and training of new staff and nursing student rotations.
