Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• RN licensure by Ohio Board of Nursing is required.
• Minimum 2–5 years of clinical leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to administrative functioning of nursing services by reviewing staffing, reassigning and allocating staff as appropriate to meet changing patient care needs.
• Serves as a clinical resource and role model to nursing staff. Ensures safe and equitable working environments. Uses information systems to retrieve, implement, and retain essential records and services.
• Interacts with internal and external customers and serves as a resource for information and problem solving (e.g. media, patient relations, risk management, security, hospital administration, patients, and families).
• Serves as a liaison between nursing services and other hospital departments for problem solving and problem resolution (e.g. Pharmacy, Lab, etc.).
• Coordinates and/or assists with activities during internal and external emergency situations.
