Job summary

Upstate-Coin- is seeking a detail-oriented associate to perform quality control, processing, sorting, and grading of numismatic products. You will coordinate grading with NGC/PCGS, identify counterfeit coins, and handle documentation in inventory.

Experience in a fast-paced setting and proficiency with MS Office are required; NetSuite ERP is a plus. The role involves lifting 50–75 lbs and standing for long periods as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in a detail-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office Suite applications.
• NetSuite ERP system experience highly desirable.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Capable of regularly lifting 50-75 pounds with proper technique.
• Able to work on feet for extended periods.
• Demonstrates high level of manual dexterity to safely handle smaller coinage.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Quality control, processing, sorting, organizing, and grading of numismatic products.
• Process, evaluate and sort numismatic products for quality control.
• Send numismatic products to NGC and/or PCGS for grading.
• Identify counterfeit and non-precious metal coinage.
• Complete paperwork and process to grade numismatic products in inventory.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
