Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks an Operations Supervisor for the Facilities trade organization, focused on the D501 Pure Water Operations Supervision. You will develop and schedule daily/weekly workloads using CMMS, complete work orders, and uphold safety/training programs while overseeing high-grade facility work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining Grade "A" system.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
• One of: minimum 1 year trade at EB, or 3 years combined relevant and leadership experience in high-volume setting, or EB experience with engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and schedule daily/weekly workloads using CMMS.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain safety programs (JHA) and training programs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance of facilities equipment.
• Utilize process improvement programs.
• Oversee Grade "A" work in Facilities.
• Collaborate with outside contractors and support other Facilities and Operations groups.

Operations supervisor position for the Facilities trade organization.

This position is for the D501 Pure Water Operations Supervision. This will consist of developing and scheduling daily/weekly workloads using CMMS, completing work orders in a timely manner, maintaining safety (JHA) and training programs, conducting preventative maintenance program of facilities equipment and utilizing process improvement programs. Oversee Grade \"A\" work in the facilities department.

Applicant will also be required to work with outside contractors and support other Facilities and Operations organizations to complete job tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED


• 5+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining Grade \"A\" system


• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance

Must Meet One Of The Following

• Minimum 1 year trade experience at electric boat


• Minimum of 3 year combined relevant experience and leadership experience in a high-volume setting


• Minimum of 1 year EB experience and an Engineering degree in a related field

Preferred

• 4-5 years of supervision experience


• HVAC, Compressed Air, Steam, Water and Gas experience


• Previous PRC Supervisor qualification a plus
