Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Facilities trade organization. The role focuses on developing and scheduling daily/weekly workloads using CMMS, completing work orders promptly, and maintaining safety training programs and JHA compliance.

The position oversees Grade A work within Facilities, collaborates with outside contractors, and supports other Facilities and Operations teams to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining Grade "A" system.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and schedule daily/weekly workloads using CMMS.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.

Overview

Operations supervisor position for the Facilities trade organization.

This position is for the D501 Pure Water Operations Supervision. This will consist of developing and scheduling daily/weekly workloads using CMMS, completing work orders in a timely manner, maintaining safety (JHA) and training programs, conducting preventative maintenance program of facilities equipment and utilizing process improvement programs. Oversee Grade "A" work in the facilities department.

Applicant will also be required to work with outside contractors and support other Facilities and Operations organizations to complete job tasks.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining Grade "A" system
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance

Must meet one of the following:

• Minimum 1 year trade experience at electric boat
• Minimum of 3 yearcombined relevant experience and leadership experiencein a high-volume setting
• Minimum of 1 year EB experience and an Engineering degree in a related field

Preferred:

• 4-5 years of supervision experienceHVAC, Compressed Air, Steam, Water and Gas experience
• Previous PRC Supervisor qualification a plus
