Right Hire Consulting LLC is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer for a nuclear facility. The role entails leading the structural design, preparing change packages, and coordinating engineers and vendors to meet schedule and budget.

You will prepare calculations for piping, supports, seismic and anchoring evaluations while interfacing with plant stakeholders to define scope and startup activities. A PE license and 10+ years in industrial steel/concrete design are required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required, with the ability to obtain a PE in Texas.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with industrial steel and concrete design for heavy industrial facilities.
• Must be able to obtain unescorted access within a nuclear power plant.
• Familiarity with nuclear standards and guidelines.
• NANTeL Certified in the Nuclear Standard Design Process (IP-ENG-01).
• Field experience at an operating Nuclear Plant.

Responsabilidades

• Lead structural design and prepare change packages.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary team of engineers and vendors.
• Prepare structural calculations and evaluations for piping, supports, equipment anchoring, seismic assessments.
• Interface with plant stakeholders to determine scope and support startup activities.
• Review work for accuracy and code compliance; coordinate with other disciplines.
• Develop material and work-hour estimates and project schedules.
