Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group in Fort Worth, TX. You’ll contribute to the analysis, design, and evaluation of critical structures for power generation and government projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, 3+ years of concrete and steel design experience, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with design of structural systems including concrete and steel.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm.
• Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship is required due to Federal Contract Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and evaluate critical structures and components for client facilities.
• Collaborate across disciplines and lead design initiatives.
• Develop engineering estimates and prepare technical reports and specifications.
• Travel and participate in site walkdowns and field installations as needed.
• Lead and mentor other team members as part of project delivery.
