Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Structural Design Engineer for our Nuclear Design Group in Kennesaw, GA. You will analyze, design, and evaluate critical structures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety and compliance.

Role includes preparing calculations, reports, and specifications, with opportunities to travel for site walks and field installation support. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; a Civil/Structural Engineering degree; strong writing and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years in design of structural systems (concrete/steel).
• Experience with power generation, nuclear, or government (DOE) projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and evaluate structural systems to meet safety and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and specifications for projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integrity and milestones.
• Support field operations, site walks, and system start-ups as needed.
• Communicate findings clearly to clients and project teams.
