Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) at Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL. The role trains to supervise licensed reactor operators and equipment operators in the reactor control room and to directly supervise bargaining unit personnel.

Primary duties include completing all training phases to obtain an SRO license, supporting outage activities, emergency response, and coverage across the department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1.5+ years in a reactor operator role (or supervisor) at comparable facility preferred, with 1.5+ years after qualification.
• Bachelor-level engineering/physical sciences background or professional engineer license is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom and on-the-job training.
• Complete training to obtain an SRO license and perform duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor.
• Support outage activities, emergency response, and department coverage as needed.
