Job summary

TerraPower seeks a Nuclear Plant Siting and Environmental Licensing Engineer to support siting and licensing activities in Kemmerer, WY. You will integrate environmental requirements into project planning, coordinate with NRC and other authorities, and help prepare regulatory submittals.

The role requires strong communication, a BS in a nuclear-related field, and 5+ years of nuclear licensing experience, with a focus on collaborative teamwork within a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years direct nuclear reactor siting experience.
• 5+ years direct environmental licensing experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a matrix organization.
• Experience with regulatory authorities (NRC) is required.
• Background in civil/environmental/mechanical engineering or related science.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of Siting and Environmental Licensing Project Plans.
• Assist in scheduling and execution of licensing submittals and regulatory approvals.
• Coordinate meetings with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
• Integrate environmental requirements into project plans, design criteria, and construction documents.
• Support industry engagement and share lessons learned at TerraPower.
