Job summary

TerraPower is seeking a Field Engineer to support the Natrium project at the Kemmerer, WY site. You will work with Site Design Engineering, construction oversight, and the project team to ensure field integrity and proper documentation.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, 4+ years in field/construction engineering on large projects, and familiarity with nuclear quality standards. OTAs and safety compliance are emphasized.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with nuclear/large industrial projects preferred.
Ability to read drawings, specs, and isometrics.
Familiarity with nuclear quality requirements (NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B) preferred.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; Primavera P6 a plus.
Strong written and oral communication; high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Perform field walkdowns and verify installed conditions against drawings, specs, and work packages.
Log and track RFIs, field change requests, and nonconformances through closure.
Prepare field markups, redlines, and as-built records for design teams.
Track installed quantities and support project controls with data.
Assist in reviewing work packages for completeness and constructability.
Support inspections, hold points, turnover docs, and records.
Prepare daily field reports and site progress photos.
Maintain open-action logs and communicate issues to Field Engineering SME.
Comply with site safety requirements and report unsafe conditions.
