Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT seeks a Ship Superintendent - Nuclear to lead daily readiness for reactor plant systems and coordinate multi-trade activities across the nuclear waterfront. You will manage the test readiness program, drive safety, quality and on-time completion of major build milestones, reporting to the Nuclear Ship Manager.

You will need 4+ years EB experience or 5+ years in related fields, with supervisory background, and be eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of EB experience in manufacturing/operations or 5+ years in related fields.
• 2+ years of Electric Boat supervisory or Naval Nuclear PP supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tasks across multiple personnel and organizations.
• Interface with trades, Nuclear Test Engineering, Quality, and Shipyard groups.
• Administer documents for nuclear work and test readiness (TIRs, Ripouts, ERs, NCRs, Work Orders).
• Lead High-Risk Activities for major evolutions and drive process improvements.
• Support work during off-shift hours and weekends as needed.
