Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree with major coursework in physics, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, or nuclear sciences.
• 1 year of professional experience in health physics, radiochemistry, environmental safety, or related field.
• Ability to travel and work overnight stays; valid driver's license required.
• Hazwoper certification at technician level and pass CVSA Level VI Inspection certification.

Key qualifications

• Bachelor Degree with major coursework in physics, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, or nuclear sciences
• One year of professional experience in health physics, radiochemistry, environmental safety, or related field
• Ability to travel and work overnight stays; valid driver's license required
• Ability to become Hazwoper certified at technician level and pass CVSA Level VI Inspection certification
• Knowledge of radiation protection standards, radiation measuring equipment, and environmental monitoring methods
• Ability to work overtime including evenings and weekends; heavy work involving lifting up to 100 pounds
