Job summary

General Matter, Inc. is hiring a Management Measures Specialist to build and oversee programs that ensure safe, reliable operations at a nuclear facility.

You will integrate configuration management, maintenance, training, procedures, QA, audits, and records, coordinating with engineering, operations, and licensing teams to keep safety controls current. The role requires a strong engineering background, experience in regulated environments, and the ability to drive cross-functional improvements

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to perform trade studies and make clear recommendations using first principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a physical science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of management measure disciplines in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with 10 CFR Part 70 and ISA.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the facility's management measures programs under 10 CFR Part 70.
• Establish and maintain a configuration management program to preserve design and safety bases.
• Define and oversee maintenance, testing, calibration, and surveillance programs for critical equipment.
• Develop and maintain procedures, training, and qualification requirements across operations and safety functions.
• Establish and administer the quality assurance program aligned with ASME NQA-1; support audits and records.
