Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a science or engineering discipline with relevant environmental/waste experience.
• 3+ years in a nuclear/radiological setting if with bachelor’s; 3+ years in a nuclear/radiological setting with advanced degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain environmental monitoring programs.
• Secure and maintain permits, licenses, and registrations for radiological and non-radiological discharges and waste handling.
• Review operations and changes for potential environmental release.
• Develop criteria, procedures, and training to monitor effluents.
• Build and run the radioactive waste management program, including storage, handling, and disposition.
