Job summary

Enercon's Nuclear Services group seeks a Safety Analysis Engineering Manager in the U.S. to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering radiological, thermal-hydraulic, chemical and meteorological evaluations for licensing, design, and operability of nuclear facilities.

You will mentor engineers, manage project scope and schedules, develop technical proposals, and interface with clients to ensure quality and timely delivery on complex projects across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
• Professional Engineering License or commitment to obtain one.
• Minimum 6 years engineering experience including nuclear industry.
• 2+ years leading employees in a leadership role.
• Ability to gain unescorted access at nuclear sites.
• Experience with radiological, thermal-hydraulic, chemical and meteorological assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to keep complex projects on track and aligned with standards.
• Interface with clients to ensure quality and deadlines on projects.
• Lead internal disciplines and delegate project roles.
• Support and mentor engineers in radiological, thermal-hydraulic, chemical and meteorological evaluations.
• Develop technical proposals and estimates supporting business development.
