Qualifications

  • Education requirements align with entry-level federal engineering/physical science grades (GG-07/09/11).
  • Degrees may be in Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or Cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

  • Protect public health and safety; protect the environment and national security interests.
  • Support regulatory standards, reviews, hearings, and licensing activities.
  • Participate in NRAN stages: Phase I foundation and Phase II apprenticeships across regions and HQ.

Education

GG-07: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physical Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or Cybersecurity (ABET-accredited for Engineering/Physical Science)
GG-09: Master's degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or Cybersecurity
GG-11: Doctoral degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or Cybersecurity
