Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become a licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) supporting Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL.

The program trains candidates to supervise licensed reactor operators in the reactor control room and to supervise bargaining unit operators and equipment operators. Relocation assistance may be offered to those meeting policy conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5-years at a noncomparable facility.
• Maintain minimum access requirements and unescorted access qualifications, and medical examination as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom training and on-the-job training.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license to perform duties of Operations Shift Supervisor.
• Support outage activities, emergency response, and department coverage as directed by management.
