Constellation Energy in Clinton, IL offers a path to become a licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO). The role trains candidates through ILT to supervise licensed reactor operators in the NRC-regulated control room.

Training progresses toward full licensure and supervisory responsibilities. The program requires a high school diploma or GED and significant reactor operation experience or related engineering credentials.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility.
• Maintain minimum access requirements and pass medical examination.

Mansioni

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom and on-the-job training.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license to supervise licensed reactor operators.
• Perform duties of Operations Shift Supervisor and support outage activities as needed.
