Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Houston, TX seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure the Project Quality Plan is implemented across engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and operations for nuclear projects.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will coordinate quality activities, perform audits, conduct root-cause analyses, and drive data-driven quality improvements while collaborating with multiple disciplines on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline required.
• 5–10+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a closely related field expected; 3–5+ years of engineering design experience noted.
• Working knowledge of CGD implementation for materials, equipment, and services.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as NQA-1, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and NRC Regulatory Guides preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of company standards, policies, and guidelines.
• Coordinate CARs and close out corrective actions.
• Facilitate root cause analyses to identify systemic issues and preventive actions.
• Plan and conduct quality assessments and audits.
• Prepare and deliver quality-related presentations and metrics.
• Draft and manage Project Quality documentation and data analyses.
