Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineer to administer the Project Quality Plan and ensure the quality program is implemented across engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and operations. You will coordinate activities for one or more functions and report to the Quality Manager.

Location flexibility includes Denver, CO and other sites; this is a full-time, on-site role focused on delivering safe, compliant, and cost-effective project quality outcomes across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is required.
• Experience in quality assurance, quality control, or related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with quality standards and frameworks such as NQA-1, ISO 9001, Six Sigma and NRC Regulatory Guides is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of company standards, policies, and guidelines.
• Coordinate CARs (Corrective Action Reports) and track closure.
• Facilitate root cause and apparent cause analyses to identify systemic issues.
• Plan and conduct quality assessments to evaluate compliance and performance.
• Draft, maintain, and manage Project Quality documentation, metrics, and performance indicators.
• Mentor project staff and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
