Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking experienced Quality QC Inspectors to join a growing nuclear market team. You will inspect electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil work, test materials, and oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with project specs and industry standards.

Ideal candidates bring strong attention to detail, familiarity with construction quality systems, and the ability to work on active construction sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5+ years of quality inspection experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and standards.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of works and structures to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Perform material testing and analysis, and other relevant assessments.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality control plans and procedures.
• Identify and document defects or non-conformities and implement corrective actions with the team.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality issues and provide improvements.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with safety regulations on site.
