Job summary

Fluor in Houston is seeking a quality professional to oversee supplier activities on nuclear projects. You will apply QA methods to ensure compliance with procurement documents and safety standards, coordinating with project teams and suppliers.

The role requires the ability to travel more than 50% and to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including management, vendors, and fabricators in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent with work experience.
• Ability to communicate with management, coworkers, vendors and visitors.
• Knowledge of local, state/federal guidelines relevant to the role.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work habits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor/inspect supplier fabrication activities via surveillance or inspection.
• Align surveillance requirements with supplier and project management.
• Identify and process supplier nonconformances per quality program.
• Assess and report supplier readiness to release shipments.
• Document supplier performance evaluations.
• Plan and organize own work and tasks from management staff.
