Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Co. is seeking a Quality Specialist to perform QA duties ensuring QEHS processes, products, and services meet quality and regulatory standards at the Cranberry Township, PA site. The role is hybrid, reporting to the Manager of Quality Programs and Internal Assessments.

You will support audits, corrective actions, document management, and quality records, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to achieve quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in quality or a technical role.
• ASQ Auditing Certification is preferred.
• Experience working in quality, engineering, or operations groups associated with nuclear or other regulated industry.
• Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations, familiarity with NQA-1 is preferred.
• Knowledge and use of causal analysis tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination activities with third‑party inquiries and audits (government, customers, registrars).
• Participate in internal quality audits and assessments to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate simple projects across multifunctional areas to meet quality objectives.
• Prepare data reports, presentations, and metrics for leadership review.
• Initiate and perform Corrective Action Program efforts and IRC coordination.
• Support document management, archival and retention for quality records.
