Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township, PA seeks a Quality Specialist to assure QEHS compliance and support management system activities. The role reports to the Manager, Quality Programs and Internal Assessments in a hybrid work setting.

Key duties include coordinating audits, generating leadership reports, driving corrective action, updating procedures and maintaining quality records within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in quality or a technical role.
• ASQ Auditing Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support third-party inquiries and audits with regulatory agencies, customers, and registrars.
• Participate in internal quality audits to ensure regulatory and standards compliance.
• Coordinate simple cross-functional projects to meet quality objectives within schedule.
• Prepare data reports and leadership metrics as requested.
• Lead and assist corrective action programs and IRC coordination.
• Maintain corporate quality procedures, document management, archival and retention.
• Support quality records management.
• Assist with management reviews and self-assessments.

About The Role

As a Quality Specialist you will perform a variety of quality assurance duties to ensure Westinghouse Corporate QEHS processes, products and services meet quality (regulatory, statutory) and technical requirements defined by Westinghouse. Develop and execute quality activities that support management system activities, corrective action issue analysis and resolution, quality program audits & assessments, and third‑party interface activities. You will report to the Manager, Quality Programs and Internal Assessments and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA location. This is a hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support coordination activities associated with third‑party inquiries and audits, including government regulatory agencies, customers, industry entities, and registrars.
• Participate in internal quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
• Coordinate simple projects encompassing multi‑functional areas. Monitor progress and work to achieve established quality objectives within schedule constraints.
• Prepare data reports, presentations, and organizational metrics for leadership evaluation upon request.
• Initiate and perform Corrective Action Program efforts, including issue owner, causal analysis, corrective action implementation, Issue Review Committee (IRC) coordination efforts as assigned.
• Support efforts associated with revising Corporate Quality procedures, coordinating document management processes, and implementing archival and retention requirements for quality assurance documentation.
• Support efforts associated with quality records management.
• Provide input and support to corporate quality processes and activities such as management review, self‑assessments, procedure revisions, operating experience, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in quality or a technical role
• ASQ Auditing Certification is preferred.
• Experience working in quality, engineering, or operations groups associated with nuclear or other regulated industry.
• Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations, familiarity with NQA-1 is preferred.
• Knowledge and use of causal analysis tools is beneficial.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $64,800 to $81,000 per year.
