Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own and manage the audit program under our nuclear QA framework. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You’ll audit against a licensee’s quality organization with independence and documented qualifications. A typical week includes on-site evidence gathering, exit meetings, and drafting reports, plus supplier evaluations, corrective-action

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing of regulatory requirements.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end and supervise auditors and specialists.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits.
