Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2-year technical degree plus 1 year related experience, or HS diploma and 3 years DoD/USN experience.
• Experience with Navy Work Authorization Forms and Tag Outs using eSOMS.
• Ability to work in a shipboard environment.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain Confidential Security Clearance.
• Proficiency interpreting technical specifications, drawings, schematics, and work requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to engineers and project teams engaged in nuclear propulsion overhaul and modernization activities.
• Prepare technical work instructions, procedures, repair plans, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Support waterfront and shop-floor activities with on-site technical guidance and issue resolution.
• Conduct calculations and analyses to support engineering design and planning.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, reports, and flow charts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure safety, quality, and schedule commitments are met.
