Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Aiken, SC site, focusing on commercial construction with nuclear market exposure. You will oversee multiple project teams, manage client relations, and collaborate with preconstruction and estimating to drive successful outcomes.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, strategic planning, and delivering value in a fast-paced, travel-enabled environment across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent professional experience.
• 12–15+ years of experience in commercial or Federal Government construction; DOE experience a plus.
• Experience in job management across operations, estimating, contract management, and client relations.
• Knowledge of scheduling, contracting, and coordination of multiple disciplines and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and leadership, with ability to influence at all levels.
• Proficiency with project controls and administrative software (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
• Experience in staff management and performance oversight.
• Public speaking and presentation skills.

• Provide senior leadership and oversight for multiple construction teams.

• Collaborate during preconstruction, estimating, and proposal development.
• Lead contract negotiations and support contract development.
• Engage with industry and professional organizations as a leader.
