Job summary

Framatome is seeking a Project Engineer in Lynchburg, VA to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex engineering projects. You will act as the main interface among engineering disciplines, project management, customers, suppliers, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery with quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required or closely related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of project life cycles, methodologies and phases.
• Understanding of a specific engineering discipline.
• Supply chain and procurement practices.
• Budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Stakeholder coordination and client presentations.
• Engineering analysis background including ASME Section III/XI, Thermal Hydraulics, or Electrical/I&C.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all engineering work and develop technical solutions within budget and schedule.
• Plan and execute solutions addressing client needs.
• Forecast staffing and skill requirements for project objectives.
• May supervise engineers, designers, and technicians on project tasks.
• Represent the Company in communications with clients and suppliers.
• Propose plans and cost improvement programs to meet business objectives.
