Job summary

The U.S. Pacific Fleet seeks a second level supervisor to oversee work operations in support of naval nuclear ship repair, maintenance, modernization, and overhaul on Guam.

You will plan, coordinate, and direct a variety of related tasks through subordinate supervisors, analyze schedules, determine manpower and material needs, and set deadlines and quality standards. This role requires compliance with DoD ethics, E-Verify, security clearances, and overseas requirements.

Qualifications

• Directing and overseeing the planning, scheduling and execution of nuclear production work applicable to ship availability.
• Planning, scheduling and execution of nuclear production work in the overhaul, repair, modification and conversion of nuclear ships.
• Experience in technical specifications and work practices associated with the overhaul, repair, modification of nuclear ships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as second level supervisor over work operations in support of naval nuclear ship repair, maintenance, modernization, and overhaul.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct related work operations through subordinate supervisors/leaders.
• Analyze present and future work schedules; determine manpower, material, equipment, training, and other requirements.
