Job summary

Entergy seeks a Procurement Engineering Specialist I–Senior Lead to establish technical and quality requirements for nuclear plant procurements. The role involves performing PE Evals, documenting dispositions, and working with internal teams and suppliers to ensure compliance with safety, codes, and regulatory commitments.

The position supports qualification programs and collaboration with engineers, procurement, and contracts staff, with location flexibility and a focus on safety and efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Understanding of procurement engineering and its role in Entergy operations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish technical and quality requirements for materials, parts and contracts.
• Perform PE Evals and document conclusions for quality compliance.
• Coordinate with Procurement Specialists, Receipt Inspectors and vendors to resolve issues.
• Promote strong safety and ensure regulatory and license basis compliance.
