Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Procedures Analyst to develop and maintain plant operating procedures to support safe and compliant operations at the Hanford site. You will write, review, and implement procedures in accordance with nuclear safety requirements and project policies.

The role requires strong technical writing, experience in plant operations, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, actionable procedures for shift crews and maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma; Associates degree with 4 years plant operations experience; Bachelor’s degree with 2 years plant operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain plant operating procedures to support safe and compliant operations.
• Developing procedures: naming, requirements identification, design, development, verification, review and approval.
• Revise procedures due to program/design changes; incorporate lessons learned and operating experience.
• Create and revise operating, alarm response, maintenance, surveillance, abnormal and emergency procedures.
• Conduct Job Hazards Analyses and implement safety protocols in procedures.
