Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Plant Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and commissioning of the Waste Treatment Plant facilities at the Hanford site. The role focuses on protecting plant configurations, providing technical support, and resolving issues to maintain safe, reliable operations.

The position requires a BS in engineering and at least two years of related experience, with nuclear facility experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related science from a four-year college/university.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related professional experience.
• One year of nuclear facility experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Plant Engineering program elements as assigned.
• Develop, review, concur with and/or assess engineering technical documents.
• Develop, review, concur with and/or assess management control procedures, technical procedures or guides.
• Assess facilities, systems, and/or processes anomalies or degraded conditions.
• Resolve condition report issues or other discrepancies as assigned.
• Provide on-site technical support during maintenance, commissioning, or testing activities.
