Job summary

General Matter in Paducah, Kentucky seeks an experienced Plant Manager to build and lead the new Paducah site from the ground up, staffing, training, and running operations once live.

You will oversee commissioning, operations, maintenance, engineering, regulatory, and business functions, report to Head of Nuclear Operations, and ensure safety, compliance, and performance while coordinating with corporate leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in science, engineering, or a technical field.
• Advanced degree preferred in engineering, business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead site readiness to bring the Paducah plant online, including staffing and training.
• Build and manage the site leadership team and workforce, with ongoing talent development.
• Set operational culture with standards for safety, accountability, and performance.
