General Matter in Paducah, KY seeks an experienced IT Manager to oversee the company's IT systems, drive best practices, and scale infrastructure for growth. You will work closely with engineering teams to deploy Microsoft enterprise platforms while maintaining security, reliability, and performance.

The role requires leadership in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for systems, processes, and tools that support the nation’s nuclear fuel production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or engineering with 3+ years of systems administration, or 5+ years of experience without a degree.
• Experience with servers in physical and virtual environments and multi-platform authentication.
• Experience monitoring mission-critical enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support Microsoft enterprise software platforms for engineering teams.
• Maintain highly resilient, scalable systems and define change control processes.
• Design and implement standards for systems architecture, testing, and security.
• Ensure uptime and performance of core IT infrastructure.
• Build automation at scale to improve efficiency and reliability.
