Enercon invites mechanical and civil/structural engineering students to join our Nuclear Design Group for a hands-on internship in Georgia and Louisiana. You will support plant modifications, safety analyses, and on-site walkdowns while collaborating with senior engineers on real projects.

This role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and practical problem solving. The internship targets ABET-accredited programs with a May–June 2027 start window and a December 2027–June 2028 graduation window.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of our listed preferred majors.
• Preferred grad date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Available to start on an agreed upon date between May 2027 and June 2027.
• Courses for Mechanical Applicants: Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Material Science, Statics, Structural Analysis, Mechanics of Materials, Engineering Mechanics.
• Courses for Civil Applicants: Statistics, Structural Analysis, Mechanics of Materials, Steel Design, Concrete Design, Structural Dynamics, Engineering Mechanics.
• Solid working foundation with major’s core concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to contribute individually and work in teams.
• Ability to solve problems effectively.
• Must climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Must navigate client sites for walkdowns.
• Must work outside and be willing to travel for projects.
