Job summary

Cardinal Health Nuclear Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations, ensure timely delivery of medications, and maintain safety standards in a nuclear environment. The role involves assisting pharmacists and staff, following SOPs, and handling customer orders.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, pharmacy technician registration within 3 months, and prior tech experience. Overtime and various shifts may be needed. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Pharmacy Technician registration preferred
• State Pharmacy Technician registration required within 3 months of hire
• Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist and other staff in preparing facility for daily operations
• Follows standard operating procedures to facilitate ongoing pharmacy operations
• Collects and processes customer orders to ensure timely delivery of medications
• Performs administrative pharmacy tasks and assists customers
• Maintains pharmacy safety by following daily infection control procedures
• Takes direction from other pharmacy techs to develop skills and knowledge
