Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in Illinois is seeking a Nuclear Pharmacy Technician to support radiopharmaceutical preparation under supervision. You will draw, dispense, and package radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company procedures.

Responsibilities include labeling, QA testing, inventory management, and occasional deliveries. The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and willingness to work a 1:30 AM–10:00 AM shift with overtime as

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license.
Minimum age 18 due to driving.
Illinois State Board of Pharmacy registration preferred.
Experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
IV or clean room experience is a plus.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Prepares prescriptions by typing labels and obtaining Staff Pharmacist approval.
Draws doses into a syringe or vial.
Performs QA tests on instruments and radiopharmaceuticals per guidelines.
Receives, documents, and stores pharmaceuticals per DOT and company guidelines.
Maintains computer inventory and records for Rx materials.
Assists and/or performs labeling of blood cell products.
May perform clerical tasks and billing records.
