Job summary

Cardinal Health’s Nuclear Pharmacy Manager oversees one of the company’s nuclear pharmacies, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations and timely delivery of radiopharmaceuticals. The role drives local strategy with expert regulatory knowledge and strong customer relations.

The position requires a PharmD or equivalent, valid license, substantial nuclear pharmacy training, and supervisory experience. Travel and varied shifts may be required as part of responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Valid Pharmacist license in the operating state or in process.
• Minimum 200 hours of nuclear pharmacy training through an accredited program.
• 8–12 years related pharmacy experience preferred.
• At least 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work varied shifts and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Directs nuclear pharmacy operations to align with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Implements changes from leadership and shares best practices locally.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal radiopharmaceutical regulations.
• Oversees personnel management, recruitment and development within the site.
• Collaborates with Sales on product commitments and pricing within guidelines.
• Manages budget and reports financial and operational performance.
