Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in the operating state or in process of obtaining it.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Knowledge of biohazardous waste management procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and health care professionals.
• Ability to read and understand prescriptions and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Take telephone orders from Cardinal Health customers.
• Learn to use Order Receipt and Order Entry systems.
• Dispense radiopharmaceuticals per prescription and regulations.
• Potentially supervise Nuclear Pharmacy Technicians.
• Perform quality control tests and package doses for shipping.
• Train new pharmacy associates as needed.
• Deliver doses if necessary.
