Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist in Nuclear Pharmacy to provide patient care, compound nuclear meds, and oversee distribution with a team. You will manage inventory, optimize workflows, and support cost-efficiency in a 24/7 environment.

The role requires a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy, a CA license, and 2–4 years of experience. Weekend/on-call work, driving license, and English proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD completed or in progress.
• CA State Pharmacist license active or in process.
• 2–4 years of experience preferred.
• Biohazard waste management knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, or rotating shifts.
• Basic English reading/writing for document processing.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care as staff pharmacist, including nuclear medication compounding and quality testing.
• Manage inventory and procurement to ensure drug availability.
• Lead hiring, onboarding and performance management for pharmacy staff.
• Optimize internal nuclear pharmacy workflows and staffing schedules.
• Contribute to cost reduction, efficiency, and profitable growth in nuclear pharmacy.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors for drug components.
• Support administrative tasks and customer interactions.
• Doses delivery if required and potential oversight as Pharmacist in Charge.
