Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD preferred.
• Active pharmacist license in the state of operation preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other pharmacies as needed.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Manual dexterity required for medication preparation and dispensing.
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime or rotating shifts.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• May require vendor credentialing.
• Basic English reading/writing to process documents.
• Prior Authorized User certification preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmaceutical care to patients as staff pharmacist, including compounding nuclear medications and directing distribution using a team of drivers.
• Manages inventory and procurement to maintain drug availability and mitigate risks.
• Leads hiring, onboarding and performance management for pharmacy staff.
• Directs internal workflows to optimize staffing and scheduling in nuclear pharmacy.
• Aids in cost reduction, efficiency gains and profitable growth for the nuclear pharmacy business.
• Maintains supplier relationships and participates in demand planning.
• Performs administrative tasks to support operations, including customer interactions.
• Provides emergency coverage in Kentucky and West Virginia as needed.
