Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. seeks a Manager, Nuclear Pharmacy to oversee one of its nuclear pharmacies, ensuring safe, compliant operations and timely delivery of radiopharmaceuticals. You will influence short- to mid-term strategy and strengthen customer relationships to drive long-term growth.

The role involves supervising teams, managing budgets, and coordinating with Sales on commitments and pricing, with a mix of day/night/onsite duties and potential travel.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Pharmacy, PharmD or Health Sciences preferred.
• Must be a licensed Pharmacist in Alabama and eligible for licensure in Mississippi and Tennessee, with requirements to gain licensure in Mississippi and Tennessee within 6 months of start of employment
• Authorized user preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of previous supervisory experience in a health care or pharmaceutical environment preferred
• Active AL state licensure, and nuclear certification preferred
• Must be willing to obtain Tennessee and Mississippi licensure within 180 days of hire
• Ability to negotiate, influence, and resolve customer/employee problems or conflicts to meet the needs of external and internal customers
• Ability to be innovative in troubleshooting clinical/bio-distribution problems
• Demonstrates effective writing and verbal proficiency in communications and documentation procedures
• Ability to promote teamwork within pharmacy location and region

Responsibilities

• Drives operational efficiency by directing the nuclear pharmacy’s adherence to SOPs and sharing best practices
• Ensures compliance with national and state radiopharmaceutical regulations and trains staff
• Oversees fleet logistics to deliver radiopharmaceuticals and manages decay/time-sensitive delivery
• Supervises pharmaceutical and fleet teams, manages staffing and development
• Collaborates with Sales to input into product commitments and pricing for customer agreements
• Manages budget and reports on financial and operational performance

Education
