• Graduate of a nuclear medicine technology program or radiologic technology program.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology and Basic Life Support required.

Summary
Performs with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative, PET CT exams of designated anatomy to physician specifications. Adheres to necessary radiation safety precautions and NRC regulations.

Job Duties

• Maintains Quality Control Measures
• Participates in performance improvement program. Maintains information in PACS.
• Participates in the Hospital Safety Programs.
• Performs required documentation
• Covers all shifts and assignments as necessary.
• Scans and handles patient with a high degree of professional ethics, care, tact, courtesy, patience, and safety.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Graduate of a nuclear medicine technology program or
• Associate's Degree Graduate of radiologic technology program with completion of one year nuclear medicine technology training program
• Less than 1 year Able to perform nuclear medicine exams using established procedures with the level of knowledge through completion of a two or four year nuclear medicine technology program.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania within 30 Days
• CNMT - Certified Nuclear Med Tech NMTCB - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
• CT - Computed Tomography ARRT - State of Pennsylvania within 1 Year

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Graduate of a nuclear medicine technology program
• RT - Registered Technologist Radiology - State of Pennsylvania

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
