Job description

Job Summary

$15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants! Shifts: 7p-730a Sat/Sun; 11p-730a Mon. This posting reflects an opening for a CT Technologist I. We are seeking candidates for that position, with consideration for higher levels such as CT Technologist II based on skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all qualified individuals to apply.

Under general supervision of the Radiologist, performs CT procedures to acquire digital images for diagnosis and treatment. Plans and executes all CT procedures and post-processing using advanced technology, adhering to clinical criteria, anatomy, and protocols. Ensures protocols are based on guidelines and that the CT scanner's dose data is monitored, with notifications when preset levels are exceeded.

Job Duties
  1. Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire diagnostic images.
  2. Maintain knowledge of different CT systems across multiple locations.
  3. Follow protocols based on Image Gently Guidelines, monitoring dose data and alerts.
  4. Understand clinical histories and major organ systems for protocol selection.
  5. Obtain CT images following established protocols, ensuring proper patient preparation and positioning.
  6. Perform CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA imaging, including TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging.
  7. Maintain pharmacology knowledge to ensure lab results are obtained prior to exams.
  8. Adjust technical factors to optimize image quality and scan speed.

Work is performed in a clinical environment, with responsibilities including compliance with policies and procedures. Additional department-specific skills may be required.

Position Details

Education: Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required)

Experience:
Certification(s): BLS Certification; ARRT certification within 12 months.
