Job summary

TerraPower LLC. is seeking an Operations Training Manager (OTM) to lead the development of operations training programs for the Natrium Demonstration Project.

You will supervise instructors, integrate with departments, regulators, and partners to establish training processes and materials. The role focuses on licensing and continuing training programs (including SRO and non-licensed tracks) and requires expertise in SAT, NRC guidance, and training effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Senior Reactor Operator license or equivalent certification (preferably)
• At least five years licensed operator training experience or operations shift management at a nuclear station
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of SAT and training program development
• Ability to obtain unescorted plant access

Responsibilities

• Develops operations training processes, programs, and procedures for a newly developed training department.
• Develops and executes a strategy for training program initial accreditation.
• Uses SAT to develop new high-quality training curriculum for maintenance and technical personnel.
• Complies with NRC guidance including NUREG-1021.
• Revises training programs for design changes and procedural updates.
• Coordinates with management, emergency response, and other organizations on training programs.
• Prepares trainee examination material and evaluations for various training environments.
• Maintains auditable training records and reports; supports department budgeting and goals.
