Job summary

Duke Energy in the United States is seeking individuals to enter a direct license program to gain an NRC license at a Duke Energy facility. Participants will train to become Reactor Operators or Senior Reactor Operators, with ongoing license training requirements and assessments throughout the program.

The role requires a high school diploma or higher, and pathways include engineering degrees or PE, Navy reactor experience, or an RO/SRO license with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Shall have one or more of the following qualifications: 4-year engineering degree OR Professional Engineer OR Nuclear Navy Experience OR RO/SRO license with experience.
• Nuclear operations license candidates must meet minimum criteria across design facility experience or non-design facility experience.
