Xcel Energy Inc in Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Nuclear Operations Procedures writer to develop, maintain, and review operating procedures for the nuclear plant. You will collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and safe plant operation.

This role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and ideally a Bachelor's degree; the candidate must be able to obtain unescorted access. SRO certification is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience; nuclear power plant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of modification processes, QA standards, operating policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Must be familiar with 10 CFR 50.59/72.48 screening and evaluation process; or able to be qualified.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, maintain, and review Nuclear Operations procedures.
• Retrieve manuals, references, and design documents to create detailed operating instructions.
• Develop corrective actions to address procedure performance problems.
• Identify steps for operational tasks and write procedures per guide.
• Act as SME for non-dedicated procedure writers and change requests.
• Pursue ongoing development including SRO certification when possible.
• Assess PCR changes and coordinate reviews and approvals.
