Xcel Energy in Minnesota is seeking an experienced professional to write, maintain, and review nuclear operations procedures. You will ensure procedures are accurate, compliant with regulatory standards, and can be implemented without compromising safety.

The role requires likely five or more years in nuclear operations, familiarity with regulations, and the ability to coordinate changes with site staff. A strong focus on safety and quality is essential.

Formación

• High-school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience; nuclear power plant experience preferred.
• Familiar with 10 CFR 50.59/72.48 screening and evaluation process.
• Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to nuclear power plant.

Responsabilidades

• Create detailed step-by-step operating or maintenance procedures from collected information.
• Identify causes of issues in procedures and develop corrective actions.
• Determine task steps and write concise directions per the procedure writer's guide.
• Coordinate procedure reviews and change requests with site staff.
• Support fleet/site operations and excellence plans as required.
